A Declaration of Liberty Renewed
July 4, 2021
Few if any think more highly than I of the American Patriots among us, of their immeasurable abilities and great concern, and of their earnest hope to right the wrongs that have befallen our Liberty and Freedom.
But as is the nature of man, perceptions vary and not all view the current state of our union in the same light as I and therefore, as best that I can, will attempt to speak freely and concisely on the subject. Unfortunately, time is not on the side of considered reason or tempered thought, nor is it a friend to those most zealous voices that are raised against us. I am of the firm belief and fearful thought that placed before us is perhaps the grandest test of all: Freedom or Oppression. As censorship looms and debate is stifled, I seek to find truth as shortly it may no longer be available, or capable of discovery should the censorious masters have their way. But truth is the responsibility we have to each other, to our Constitution, to Posterity, and to God Almighty. Any who restrain their own voices now, at such time of peril, should consider themselves as guilty as those who censor the voices of others. To shirk from our duty in this regard is an act of national disloyalty, and disloyalty to humanity the consequences of which are certain ruin, and an immutable outcome.
As a man of hope, I am forced to steel my heart against unnatural illusions or fanciful ideas of quick victory that leads us swiftly back to good government that serves in the simplest terms the people. This journey is to be long and arduous, as we are engaged in a great struggle for our own Liberty, and that of Posterity. We are expected daily to not trust our own eyes, to unhear that which is heard in the flesh, and trust those who have so often maligned us, and fed us falsehoods. Unfortunately, I, like all of you am unable to do so. I am obliged to know the truth, the best and the worst of it and to have it provided in full so that an appropriate measure can be taken.
I have no grand name to stand on, nor great wealth for which I fight; I am guided only by experience and a desire to see the truth unbridled for the preservation of our Liberty. I admit openly that I am unable to discern exactly what is to come but can make a measure of it by having an understanding of the past. And in judging that past, I am stricken with grave concern for those who are to live under our omnipresent bureaucratic establishment when their own opinions and preferences be in opposition to those who wield power. Are we to trust the pernicious smile that spreads itself wide across the face of those in government who say, “Help is here”, “Help has arrived, America”? I say No; for this is the very smile that spreads to its widest breadth as the cacophonous applause grows having just slandered us Domestic Terrorists, Racists, Nazis, and Insurrectionists. Ask yourself how this growing need to label and identify our belief in the Constitution and Bill of Rights as Terroristic leads them to anything but war-like preparations which fuel societal unrest and public attacks on our persons. A darkness is spreading across our lands as the intelligence and security apparatus of the state aligns to target our belief in the ideas of our founders. Are the Intelligence Agencies, Federal and State Law Enforcement Apparatus and all other manner of armed government agency necessary to subdue sentiment? Is this the type of Unity we heard so much about? Have we shown ourselves so unwilling to debate the matter, have it tried in the courts, have our candidates & thought leaders expose the bias we so fight against that force of arms must be brought to bear to win back our hearts and minds? Are we to change our understanding of Liberty and Freedom to avoid imprisonment?
Let us all be very frank with one another. The Intelligence and Security Apparatus that is to be used to subjugate us is the very apparatus that has been grown these past 20 years to combat foes on foreign land. These are true weapons of war who, when turned against their own population, are the last resort of illicit government to subjugate a free people. And so I ask those who wish to implement such measures against us for our sentiments, if this is not their purpose then what is? Can any official, scholar, or thought leader among them assign any other motive for such a decision? Have you all any enemy so grand in our own nation to turn such power inward? No, you do not. These new policies, and the apparatus that supports it are designed for us; they are meant for ourselves and our families, our friends, neighbors, and coworkers. They are meant for the veterans among us who so bravely answered our nations call, the Doctors and Nurses who stood so firmly in the depths of uncertain pandemic. They are meant for the teachers, and the business owners, the farmers, and the lawyers, and the millions among us who value the Constitution and the sacred promise that it contains. They are designed to bind us, to shackle our minds and cage our spirit.
And what have we to oppose such omnipresent treachery? A firm argument? An appeal to logic, reason, or emotion? Perhaps we are to appeal to history, legal scholarship, or the courts? We have tried this, and more. We have sought redress and been told that we have no standing, that our ideas are steeped in unconscious bigotry, that our skin is the basis for inborn hatred, that until we are deprogrammed from the false narrative of history that our founders forged we have no place as equals among you. We have come up empty handed in our many pleas. Nothing. We have held ourselves to discourse as often as you would have us, and many more times when we spoke to nothing but injurious ridicule by the powered interests among you. So far, we have failed and acted in vain. Shall we appeal to Congress or perhaps the monied interests that control them? Or to the Intelligence Agencies and the Security Apparatus directly? What terms shall you find acceptable that we have not already offered, other than complete refutation of our most deeply held beliefs and sincerest hopes? The many among us who are of the firmest belief that God should see us through are considered ever more dangerous by your new decree as Christian Religion is now associated with what you describe as “Alt-Right Domestic Extremism”. Should we shudder our Churches, condemn our God and act as Judas to placate your fears? Would a public affirmation en masse to the principles of Critical Race Theory, Black Lives Matter, and Social Justice end this for once and all? Let us not deceive ourselves. We have exhausted every avenue to avert the storm which you so seek to bring to our hearths and homes. We have petitioned, we have attempted to legislate, we have remonstrated, we have debated, we have rallied, and we have prostrated ourselves before the public on your own networks though we knew they sought not discourse but purposeful embarrassment. Our petitions have been ignored, our audits, hearings, and meetings slighted in the fullest. We have warned against the growth of diversity that doesn’t include diversity in thought, the struggle sessions that act themselves out on the streets of our most liberal cities, and the Socialistic and Communistic tendencies that are arising on the left. And we have failed in these attempts as your recent Executive Strategy has demonstrated. Are we to continue to indulge in the hope of Constitutional government and a peaceful reconciliation among the two halves of our nation? What room for hope remains now that our sentiment is considered criminal, and subject to surveillance and law enforcement action?
If we wish to be free, to retain our liberty and preserve the natural rights of man which we all share and value so deeply, if we intend to continue this struggle which has been for long an daily engagement which we have pledged ourselves never to abandon, we must unite as Constitutionalists, Conservatives, Republicans, Libertarians, MAGA’s, Christians, Jews, and Atheist’s alike, Moderates and Centrists, lovers of Liberty and all opposed to indentured servitude, Socialism, and Communism – We must Unite!
They tell us that we are weak; unable to challenge government without F-15s and Nukes. But together, force of arms is not needed. Together, we shall be stronger and more resolved than any force that opposes us. We will find ourselves in a month stronger once banded as one, and in a year a force so unstoppable as to be that which saves Western Civilization from certain collapse under the weight of bloated bureaucratic socialism and unopposed tyranny. Eighty-Million people coalesced around the idea of Liberty and Freedom cannot be persecuted into submission. A movement so united can not be denied standing, cannot be denied the right to free and fair elections, cannot be denied the right to worship regardless of state regulation or health code, cannot be denied our rights based on vaccination status or political opinion, cannot be denied our Liberty, or the truth we hear with our own ears and see with our own eyes. No force of propaganda, intelligence agency or security apparatus can infiltrate, frame, or subdue such a movement of united hearts and happy minds. And in uniting as one we will stand together, forging for posterity a renewed Liberty gained through vigilant effort, an active pursuit of the truth, and a Patriotic bravery that no tyranny can match. Truth be the only sword we need. For even as our chains are now forged by the government which so claims to represent us, we have the key to freedom should we always seek it in honest places. There is now no retreat from the struggle that is before us. The instruments of government oppression have been laid out in the clearest of terms. An information war is upon us, backed by an intelligence and security apparatus that seeks our thoughts compliant or our bodies enchained.
It is in vain to deny our situation at present. The next storm that sweeps across the heartland of this great nation will be to the detriment of the very citizens whose basest desires are that of Liberty and Freedom. There is no man or woman among you now who can stand idle to the cause. For a life of princely imprisonment is lesser and more ignoble than that of a dangerous and uncertain freedom. It is now that we charge ourselves with the task of Liberty Renewed! And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we should mutually pledge to each other our Love of Liberty, our Natural Right to Freedom, and our sacred Honor.
